The Larkspur waffle iron pairs cast-aluminum grid plates with an embedded heating element engineered to deliver consistent heat without cool spots. The die-cast housing rests on broad rubber feet to protect kitchen counters and keep the appliance stable under repeated opening and closing. A heavy-duty floating hinge allows the top plate to lift parallel as batter expands, giving yeast-raised or dense batters room to rise into deep pockets without spilling out around the perimeter channels.
A front-mounted rotary dial manages browning across seven stepped settings, moving from pale and yielding to dark, crisp crusts. Green indicator lights signal when preheating reaches operating temperature and when the bake cycle completes. The plates are finished with a double-layered, PTFE-free ceramic non-stick coating that releases waffles cleanly when lightly brushed with oil before the initial pour.
