These terms govern your use of plgoodsco.store and any order you place with us. Please read them before
ordering. By placing an order you accept them.
1. WHO WE ARE
This website is operated by PL GOODS LLC, trading as PL Goods Co., a limited liability company
registered in the United States. Contact details are on our Contact page and every order confirmation.
2. THESE TERMS MAY CHANGE
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the version published when you placed
it, and changes are never applied backwards. The date of the current version is shown at the foot of this
page.
3. ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least eighteen years old and able to enter a binding contract, and you must be ordering to a
United States delivery address. We do not knowingly sell to minors.
4. PRODUCTS AND DESCRIPTIONS
We describe every item as accurately as we can, including materials, dimensions and capacities. Many
products are made from natural materials — wood, stoneware, linen, leather, reactive glazes — and those
vary in colour, grain and finish between pieces. That variation is a property of the material and is not a
defect. Screens render colour differently, so an image is a guide and not a colour match. Dimensions are
nominal and carry normal manufacturing tolerance.
5. PRICING
Prices are in United States dollars and exclude sales tax and shipping unless stated. Tax and shipping are
calculated at checkout and shown before you pay. We take reasonable care with pricing, but if an item is
listed at an obviously incorrect price we are not obliged to supply it at that price: we will contact you,
and you may confirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund. Prices may change at any time; a
change never affects an order already placed.
6. HOW A CONTRACT IS FORMED
Your order is an offer to buy. Our order confirmation email acknowledges receipt but does not accept the
offer. The contract is formed when we dispatch the goods, and covers only the items in that dispatch. We
may decline an order — because an item is out of stock, because we cannot verify payment or delivery
details, because the order appears fraudulent, or because a pricing error has occurred. If we decline
after taking payment we refund in full.
7. PAYMENT
Payment is taken at checkout through our payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card
number. Title in the goods passes to you on delivery; risk passes to you on delivery.
8. DELIVERY
Delivery terms are in our Shipping policy, which forms part of these terms. Delivery estimates are
estimates. We are not liable for delay caused by a carrier, by weather, or by anything else outside our
reasonable control, though we will always help you chase it.
9. RETURNS
Your return and refund rights are in our Returns & Refunds policy, which forms part of these terms and
does not limit your rights under law.
10. USING THIS WEBSITE
You may use this site to browse and to order. You may not use it unlawfully, attempt to gain unauthorised
access to it, interfere with its operation, scrape it systematically, or use it to transmit anything
malicious. We may suspend access if you do.
11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on this site — text, photography, layout, graphics and the marks under which we trade — belongs
to us or our licensors. You may not reproduce it commercially without written permission. You may of course
share a link.
12. USER CONTENT
If you submit a review or other content, you confirm it is your own and does not infringe anyone’s rights,
and you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it. We may remove content that is unlawful, abusive,
irrelevant or not genuine. We do not publish content we know to be fabricated.
13. LIABILITY
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing
to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable, for business loss, or for
loss caused by your failure to follow care instructions supplied with a product. Nothing in these terms
excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else
that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where liability can lawfully be limited, it is limited to the amount you
paid for the order concerned.
14. PRODUCT SAFETY AND CARE
Cookware gets hot and knives are sharp. Follow the care and use instructions supplied with each item.
Ovenware, cookware and knives are not toys and should be kept away from children. We are not liable for
injury or damage arising from misuse, from use contrary to instructions, or from continued use of an item
that has become damaged.
15. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL
We are not liable for failure or delay caused by an event outside our reasonable control. If such an event
occurs we will tell you and the delivery time will be extended. If it lasts more than thirty days either
of us may cancel the affected order and we will refund in full.
16. IF A CLAUSE FAILS
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues in force.
17. NO WAIVER
If we do not insist on a right immediately, that does not prevent us insisting on it later.
18. TRANSFER
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation, and we will tell you
if we do. It will not affect your rights. You may not transfer yours without our written consent.
19. GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and the United States, and the courts of that
state have jurisdiction.
