The Larkspur Digital Kitchen Scale provides accurate measurement across a working range from one gram up to five kilograms. Constructed with an impact-resistant ABS base and a continuous tempered glass weighing platform, it handles heavy mixing bowls without deck flex. The strain-gauge load cell registers weights in half-gram increments under one kilogram, switching smoothly to single-gram increments above that threshold for heavy prep work.
A dedicated tare button zeroes out container weights instantaneously, allowing bakers to add consecutive ingredients to a single bowl without pausing. The reverse-backlit LCD screen sits flush against the front chassis, remaining legible even when a wide Dutch oven or broad baking sheet overhangs the top edge. The smooth glass surface resists liquids and cleans up with a simple wipe from a damp cloth. Never submerge the unit in water or place it in the dishwasher.
Powered by three standard AAA batteries, the scale features a two-minute auto-off timer to preserve cell life. Note that half-gram precision is not fine enough for espresso dosing or micro-quantity molecular additives requiring hundredth-gram calibration.
