Description
The Ridge scrub sponges are constructed in two bonded layers designed for everyday scullery washing. The bulk of each sponge is made from porous plant cellulose derived from wood pulp, which drinks in soapy water rapidly and releases it under light hand compression. This yellow cellulose side wipes countertops clean, mops up liquids, and lathers dish soap efficiently across glassware, glazed ceramic plates, and cutlery.
Bonded to the reverse face is an abrasive scouring pad made from woven synthetic fibers embedded with fine acrylic grit. This textured side lifts dried food debris, pan films, and grease rings without marring polished stainless steel, copper surfaces, or coated non-stick skillets. Each sponge measures four and a half inches long by three inches wide, fitting comfortably within an adult palm for direct scrubbing leverage.
Rinse thoroughly after each use, squeeze out excess water, and store in an open caddy to air dry between washings. They can be sanitized in boiling water or the top rack of a dishwasher. They will soften and fray over weeks of contact with serrated bread knives or rough grate edges.
