Formed from a single strip of solid extruded brass, this over-door hanging bracket carries seasonal wreaths, heavy wool coats, or seasonal decor without bowing under load. The metal is untreated and brushed, leaving the raw brass surface to develop a muted, natural patina over months of handling and air exposure, or to be kept bright with standard brass polish. The deep lower hook cradles wreaths up to three inches thick securely.
The interior underside of the upper bracket and the vertical return are lined with dense synthetic felt, creating a soft barrier that will not scuff semi-gloss or eggshell door paint. Measuring twelve inches long with a top bracket sized for standard one-and-three-quarter-inch doors, it slips cleanly over most interior and exterior entryways. It requires a minimum gap of one-sixteenth inch between door and frame; tight weatherstripped doors will rub and stick.
Clean the brass using a clean, dry microfiber cloth. Avoid spraying household aerosol cleaners near the hook, as chemical solvents will degrade the adhesive backing on the protective felt lining.
