Description
Cast from an unbleached blend of beeswax and paraffin, these twelve-inch tapers retain the warm, natural ivory tone of unrefined wax. Each taper is molded around a braided cotton wick engineered to draw fuel evenly down the column. In still air, the wax pool remains contained within the outer wall, burning down completely flat without dripping across your tablecloth or pooling into the candle cup.
The standard seven-eighths-inch base is scored with subtle vertical ridges to seat firmly into common brass, ceramic, or iron candle holders. The burn time runs between nine and ten hours per taper, providing steady illumination through extended dinners or evening readings without producing chemical fumes or smoke.
Keep the tapers out of drafts, open windows, and direct heat vents. Moving air disrupts the flame symmetry, which forces liquid wax over the rim and causes dripping regardless of wick construction. Furthermore, because the wax is entirely unbleached, color may shift slightly between seasonal batches, showing faint honey-colored variations across the surface.
