The surface is coated with a dual-layer, silicone-based release layer that lets high-sugar batters and egg mixtures release with a gentle tilt. While the coating requires minimal greasing for standard recipes, sticky glazes or honey-heavy mixtures still benefit from a light parchment liner or buttering.
