The interior is lined with soft unbleached cotton jersey for comfort against bare hands. This layered composition creates a certified heat threshold rated up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit, shielding skin from hot sheet pans, heavy Dutch ovens, and cast-iron skillets.
The mitts measure thirteen inches from cuff to fingertip, providing defensive forearm coverage when reaching deep into a standard domestic oven cavity. A diamond quilting pattern locks the thermal core in place so the insulating layers cannot shift, thin out, or bunch during use. Heavy cotton binding finishes the cuff, fitted with a twill loop for hook hanging beside the range.
